　　O-phenylenediamine,a colorless monoclinic crystal at room temperature,darkens in air and sunlight.Slightly soluble in cold water,soluble in hot water,easily soluble in ethanol,ether and chloroform.It reacts with inorganic acids to form water-soluble salts.It is the intermediate of dyes,pesticides,auxiliaries,photosensitive materials,etc.It is dye fur yellow brown M.It is used in the manufacture of polyamide,polyurethane,carbendazim and tobuzin,reduced red GG,levelling agent,antioxidant MB,developer,surfactant,etc.
